The City Museum shows the city and regional history in three historic half-timbered houses on the Miltenberg market square (Schnatterloch). The museum's extensive and extraordinary collection dates back to the 19th century and has been constantly expanded. The permanent exhibition shows the city and regional history from the Stone Age through the Roman period to the present, as well as the following special topics: Judaica, toys, hunting, popular piety, ceramics, everyday life. There is a lot to discover in the 44 rooms!

A large part of the collection is in the museum depot, where the objects are professionally stored. They are presented to the public at special exhibitions.
